Evgeniy Filatov
Evgeniy Filatov was born September 21, 1955 in Tula.
In 1974 he entered LGITMK and studied on the course of People’s Artist of USSR and Russia I. P. Vladimirov. His graduation stage plays were “Album sheets” and “Gainful place”.
Filatov is working now in the Lensoveta Theatre, where he came after his graduation. He had played in such stage plays as “The gamers”, “Let’s wait and see”, “Measure for measure”, “There is enough fools for every wise man”, “Voyzek”, “Snow queen”, etc.
In 1993 Eugeniy Filatov became an Honored Artist of Russia.

He looks like a mercantile person, always searching for the source of money. He is a nobleman but extremely poor, he has to eat nearly the leavings and that’s his life. He is a really touching man, a peacemaker for everyone. Here is his home, which he had never had, his family, which he had not either. Everything breaks down around him, everyone moves somewhere, and he goes after them – he has no other place to go.
